General Terms and Conditions
I. General Provisions
Kids Playland is a partially supervised playground. It is not a daycare center and is not under the management of Letzipark.
Use of Kids Playland is open to everyone who wishes to provide a protected play environment for children of the relevant age. A restriction applies to children who are ill or those who have suffered from a contagious disease within the last 7 days. These children may only enter Kids Playland once they have fully recovered.
In principle, there is no right of admission to Kids Playland. Reasons for refusal may include, for example, reaching capacity, a private event, illness, age, or a suspension of the child. Admission can also be refused without providing further justification.
Children of walking age up to 6 years:
Supervision cannot be delegated to Kids Playland. The responsible person must remain within Kids Playland and supervise the child themselves.
Children aged 6 and over:
Provided that the child possesses age-appropriate judgment and social skills and there are no medical objections, supervision can be delegated to Kids Playland. The responsible person must be reachable at all times and quickly available if they are not staying within Kids Playland.
Exceptions are made for specially organized events (such as children's birthday parties). The regulations for such private events are available separately.
Birthday party:
By paying for a booked private event or a birthday party, you accept our cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy:
- 7 days in advance:
- Rebooking is possible or 100% of the advance payment will be refunded.
- 6 – 2 days in advance:
- 50% of the total amount must be paid.
- 1 day in advance:
- 100% of the total amount must be paid.
II. Opening Hours
Letzipark Location:
Open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Sunday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
On public and local holidays from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM. *Opening hours may vary due to private events.
Dietlikon Location:
Open Monday to Sunday from 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM.
On public and local holidays from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
III. Supervision Costs and Duration of Stay
Letzipark Location:
The costs for the stay are:
Toddlers in crawling age (only when accompanied by a responsible person)
- Up to 2 h: CHF 10.–
- Daily rate: CHF 15.–
Walking age up to 1 year:0 years: (up to the age of 6, only when accompanied)
- Up to 2 h: CHF 18.–
- Daily rate: CHF 25.–
From 6 years old onwards
- Up to 2 h: CHF 18.– (without accompaniment), each additional hour CHF 18.–
Adults: CHF 5.–
Babys: Free of charge (only when accompanied by a responsible person)
The 3rd child from the same family receives a discount of 50%.
IV. Registration, Handover, and Collection of the Child
Registration:
When visiting, the details of the responsible person and the child are recorded, provided this has not already been done during a previous visit. Only data strictly necessary for supervision or emergency measures will be collected. This includes personal information, the mobile number of the responsible person for quick contact, as well as essential health information (e.g., allergies, diabetes, epilepsy) regarding the child. Withholding essential health information necessary for care releases Kids Playland from all liability and may lead to a claim for recourse against the responsible person.
An official photo ID of the responsible person is required (e.g., passport, ID card, driver's license).
Children who disrupt the operations of Kids Playland despite multiple reprimands by staff may be barred from future entry.
Handover:
When a child is handed over to the Kids Playland supervisors, the child will receive a label containing essential information. Children with higher health risks cannot be handed over to the Kids Playland supervision and must be accompanied by the responsible person on-site at all times. This decision is made on a case-by-case basis by the Kids Playland staff.
Collection:
Children must be collected at least fifteen minutes before Kids Playland closes. If children are collected late, a compensation fee for the additional administrative effort may be charged. The responsible person collecting the child(ren) must identify themselves with an official ID and the card received during the handover. If a different person is to collect the child, this must be communicated during the handover (including name, address, nationality, phone number, and relationship to the child).
The child may be picked up once the fees have been paid.
V. House Rules
Kids Playland is a smoke-free environment.
The play area may only be entered wearing socks. Please ensure you always bring a pair of spare socks with you.
Eating and drinking are prohibited in the play area. The snack corner is designated for this purpose.
Personal items may be allowed into Kids Playland following an inspection by the staff. Items that could soil the play area, cause injuries, or pose a risk to other children are not permitted. Personal belongings can be left in the cloakroom.
Toys belonging to Kids Playland must not be taken home.
Food and drinks brought from outside may only be consumed with the staff's consent. Chewing gum is forbidden. Sufficient drinking water is available to children at all times.
Lost property will be kept at Kids Playland for three months. After this period, items will be handed over to the local lost property office.
Strollers can be parked in front of Kids Playland.
In the event of a full diaper, the responsible person will be notified. They are required to either pick up the child immediately or change the diaper at Kids Playland. A room is available for this purpose.
VI. Safety
The equipment at Kids Playland is TÜV-tested and maintained by the staff.
Nevertheless, the risk of an accident due to improper use of the facilities cannot be entirely ruled out.
Therefore, children must be supervised by the responsible person. Children who have reached an age where they can be handed over to Kids Playland staff for supervision will be instructed by the staff on how to use the facilities.
In addition to the children and the supervision staff, presence in Kids Playland is only permitted for the responsible persons dropping off or picking up a child.
For reasons of privacy protection, photographing and filming is only permitted of one's own child.
Should an evacuation of Kids Playland be necessary due to fire or another alarm, children must be collected at the assembly point in front of the Hohlstrasse entrance (Letzipark).
In emergencies, the supervision staff can provide first aid. Furthermore, medical assistance may be called upon.
VII. Liability of the Kids Playland Operator
The liability (contractual and non-contractual) of Kids Playland is—to the extent permitted by law—excluded in its entirety. This applies in particular to liability resulting from slight negligence, indirect or consequential damages, as well as liability for auxiliary persons.
No liability is accepted for lost or damaged personal items belonging to the children, even if they were left in the cloakroom. Liability is only assumed for items personally handed over that are kept under lock and key.
VIII. Liability of the Parents or Legal Guardians
Obtaining liability, health, and accident insurance is the responsibility of the parents and is highly recommended.
The parents are fully liable for any personal injury, property damage, or financial loss caused by the child/children.
Any costs arising from a child's illness or accident shall be borne entirely by the parents.
Should any important information regarding the responsible person and/or the child not correspond to the facts (see Registration), liability claims may be triggered.
IX. Data Protection
Your personal data and the personal data of your children are processed in accordance with the applicable data protection laws. We are committed to protecting your privacy when you register and drop off your child at Kids Playland. Kids Playland processes personal data in compliance with current data protection laws and regulations. Personal data includes all information that can be used directly or indirectly to identify an individual.
1. Lawfulness of Processing
We process your personal data when you complete the registration form and have given your consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes to which you have agreed.
You may withdraw your consent in whole or in part at any time.
Our data processors always process data according to our instructions. We ensure that our data processors operate with the necessary information security measures and that they never disclose personal data to third parties.
